Rob Long is in for Jim Geraghty again. He and Greg rip into far left activist Shaun King for wanting all “European” depictions of Jesus torn down and discuss that the real target of many on the far left is not just religious artwork but the church itself. They also weigh in on why many police are doing nothing to stop the vandalism and destruction of statues and monuments and they address the political debate arising on the right about whether the police ought to clamp down and protect these properties or whether images of endless rioting are going to lead to more votes for Republicans in November. And they have fun with New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio, who did nothing about rioting but is now on the warpath against illegal fireworks dealers.

@roblong, you really should run for mayor of NYC. You can do it on the platform of, “I’ll keep my mouth shut!” I think that’s a fantastic idea.
Rob Long is too quick to gloat over the turnout for Trump’s latest rally:
Fox News Channel drew a total audience of 7.661 million viewers between the hours of 8 p.m. and 10 p.m. ET, far ahead of the non-rally coverage airing on CNN (2.2 million total viewers) and MSNBC (1.9 million viewers) … the highest-rated Saturday night in the network’s history.

Sometimes that seems like a good policy for him on these podcasts too. :-)
Is it just me, or was @roblobg advising the left to hide their true intentions until after they win by subterfuge in November, and then it’s okay to start doing what they really wanted to do all along?
Was I too subtle?
From what Rob Long says here, Trump was (happily) on the ropes until the radicals spoiled everything by openly attacking Washington, Jefferson, Grant, Lincoln, TR, Gandhi, and Jesus.
Should Rob Long be called a RINO or a DIABN*?
*Democrat In All But Name.
I guess so. I took you to mean that Rob just wouldn’t mouth off as much as – and as ridiculously as – de Blasio.
I don’t get people who seem to think that, even if they maybe believe that Trump is only doing 20% of what they want, that they would somehow get MORE of what they want, from Biden. (Or whoever replaces him.)
