Join Greg and Rob Long as they hope reports of major downsizing at public schools over shrinking enrollment means public schools will need to compete for students and provide a much better education. They also cringe as Biden official Samantha Power seems happy that farmers are getting crushed by much higher fertilizer prices because it will accelerate the government’s green agenda. And they shake their heads at the administration’s latest COVID hypocrisy at the border.

Thought of a joke from Rob’s comment on Biden’s approval rating. If Biden’s approval gets any lower he’ll want to start dating it.

I thought I did see that word ordering from some people for a short time but it’s all DEI now. Am I misremembering it?

They call it DEI because DIE would be too obvious.

We need to look at how New Zealand went from the worst of the west’s schools to the best in just one year.  They abolished the bureaucracy, turned schools over to parents and made schools compete for students.  Money went to parents and they could choose what ever school they could get their kids in.  Teachers, who ran the schools without bureaucratic oversight had to compete for kids and fired lousy teachers.  Most teacher are serious, that’s why they choose the profession, some are inept or enjoy the power and leverage and are simply unnecessary.  It’s simple to fix but takes courage.    I don’t understand why we put up with teacher’s unions.  They have power because we give it to them.  They run the democrat party but what is a Republican excuse for not fixing it.  We diddle with a slow and hence failing system of gradually improving a few schools by making them relatively freer.  Free them them all for gods sake.

And because DEI subliminally suggests omniscience and omnibenevolence  …
