Jim Geraghty of National Review and Greg Corombos of Radio America groan as Aetna announces it will pull out of Virginia and Iowa’s last insurer is leaving most of the state for the individual marketplace. They’re stunned as more Republicans tell pollsters they trust the government to do the right thing more than Democrats do. And they react as an MSNBC contributor declares that anyone who doesn’t rely on government is elitist.

I live in Virginia and my Obamacare insurer this year is Aetna/Inova. I’ll have to switch to something else next year. Last year I was Blue Cross/Blue Shield, but they no longer had a Bronze plan so I switched to Aetna/Inova since they did have a Bronze plan. This new Bronze plan was 21% higher than the old Bronze plan. I wonder how much more I’ll have to pay next year.
Is anyone else having trouble with the TML podcast? It won’t download correctly in iTunes, and will not play directly from the Ricochet page. Has happened several times in the past week.
Are you using Windows 10? There’s been an issue recently that a few other members have had with iTunes/Windows 10 and Three Martini Lunch. It has to do with the firewall settings. Try changing the firewall settings in Internet Explorer’s Options (which apparently, iTunes pulls its settings from, according to numerous sites I looked at).
