Rob Long is in for Jim again Wednesday. Today, they celebrate the news that the FBI found no evidence of a hate crime in connection to a “noose” found in the garage of Bubba Wallace but that doesn’t stop Wallace and Al Sharpton from insisting something sinister happened. They also slam House Speaker Nancy Pelosi for saying the Republican police reform bill is tantamount to them getting away with the murder of George Floyd. And they discuss the primary election results showing another AOC-like Democrat headed to Congress from New York and wonder how America will react to vote counts lasting several days or even weeks come November.

Rob’s optimism is misplaced in some areas. Remember that the French Revolution was the “will of the people.”
Not only was George Floyd murdered in a democrat controlled city in a democrat state – but has been controlled by democrats for decades. Every single member of the Minneapolis Police Dept, has been Hired, Trained, and Promoted (good and bad) by a democrat supervised department. IF the department is flawed or outright racist – its the democrats who are responsible.
What? Jesse Jackson has been on the make – or rather, on the take – for decades. Even when he might have been giving good speeches. Good speeches are far more effective at extracting payola from large corporations. He’s also looked rather crazy for a long time too. That Rob seems to be impressed just that Jackson ran for president, is baffling. Lots of useless – and worse – people run for president. At least for a little while.
I would love to find an image of this “Elect Democrats (who have been in office for decades), We’ll Bring Change” meme that Rob mentioned, but I haven’t found any. Anyone have a source?
Couldn’t agree more. I grew up in suburban Chicago in the early ’60’s A week didn’t go by without hearing about the “Reverend” Jackson and his “Operation Breadbasket”. He’s been on the take for decades.
And I think Sharpton still claims to be a “reverend” too.
I am amazed at the lack of curiosity that George and the cop were coworkers in a bar previously. The cop was head of security outside and George was a bouncer. There is no conceivable way for head of security and the bouncers not to know each other. Surely that story will come out in trial, but this is a fact that is being totally ignored. How likely is it that they might have had bad blood, that had nothing to do with racism?
Another mystery: when I looked yesterday, at least, the bodycam videos of the accused had still not been released. There is a rumor that they damage the prosecution case against the officers.
In that case, we can expect them to be disappeared before the trial.
I don’t think so. That’s too obvious.
Instead, release or leak edited versions of the bodycam videos. As the Covington kids hoax shows us, you can do a lot with editing.
It’s not like the media will do some kind of probing investigation!
That could work for the media, but if they still use the full version in court to get acquittals, then they still are acquitted. And then the media gets to explain why they lied, again.
Then the media get to explain that “America has a racist criminal justice system”!
They will carefully leave out the actual reasons why the acquittals occurred.
Well, obviously the criminal justice system is racist. That’s how OJ got off.
