Things are a bit more subdued Tuesday after Monday’s Wall Street carnage. So join Jim and Greg as they get a kick out experts having to spend time telling people not to snort cocaine or drink bleach to prevent coronavirus, no matter what they see on social media. As for the actual martinis, they actually applaud California Gov. Gavin Newsom for being one of the few Democratic governors to discuss the extensive cooperation he’s getting from the Trump administration and refusing to entertain media efforts to get him to slam Trump. Jim and Greg also assess Joe Biden’s dust up with an auto worker over the second amendment – from the facts to his verbal flubs to his insults. And they marvel that less than two weeks after Joe Biden was a political afterthought, few people are glued to today’s six presidential contests because a Biden nomination is a foregone conclusion.

Of course it’s an oversimplified example, but if “socialists” only represent about 20-30% of the democrat party, and the democrat party only represents about half the country, how do the “socialists” ever expect to win?  It’s not like the “half of the country that doesn’t vote” would be solidly “socialist.”  Or even half of them.

But the real-world problem, of course, is that people like Biden are already sufficiently “socialist” to cause a lot of misery.

    Two Points:

    1. There are numerous examples throughout history where a dedicated minority fundamentally transform a country.  That often requires an apathetic or distracted majority that doesn’t recognize the threat until too late or does too little.
    2. The way Socialists/Communists plan to win is through indoctrinating children. They eventually hope to build a rabid critical mass of followers zealous for a government takeover.

Yes I’m aware of that, but unless they come to actual (possibly violent) revolution “overthrowing” everyone else, somehow; 10% of the VOTING public will never do that, because only 10% + 1 of “the other side” is needed to stop them.

They’ve been at that for at least 60 years now and it appears the best they can still do is 10% of the overall population.  I still think it’s a terrible thing to program children like that, but it doesn’t seem to be leading to the results they want.
