Join Jim and Greg as they cautiously welcome the new shifting of congressional seats based upon the 2020 U.S. Census and the opportunity for Republicans to win a House majority. They also roll their eyes as John Kerry denies telling Iran’s foreign minister about covert Israeli operations in Syria while former Obama official Ben Rhodes comes up with a completely contradictory defense of Kerry’s actions.  And they sigh as Rep. Liz Cheney says she hasn’t decided one way or another on a 2024 presidential bid.

Again, the campaign managers etc, get paid regardless.  This sounds like another case where someone – Liz Cheney, this time – is asking campaign consultants, advertising managers, etc, “should I pay you millions of dollars?” and they all shout “YES!”

I think Liz Cheney is making some presidential sounding noises just to get the invite on the sunday morning shows as the republican scapegoat of the week. It would make drafting her re-election ads easier and get her a lot of media attention. I am pretty sure she knows that her voting record detonated any possibility of winning a republican primary for any office outside of her own.

I think you meant to say, “Republican judas goat of the week”!

If she were planning to run for her Congressional seat again, she would not be bruiting about running for higher office.

Possibly her internal polling is telling her she can’t win a Republican primary for her current seat.  A Presidential campaign is a good excuse for resigning from the House.

Ok, I thought she was a senator… and had a few years before she had to run again.

The Judi, (plural of Judas) would be the republicans who are on the panel, like Chris Christie. I think a lot of guests are invited on to be punching bags…
