Jim Geraghty of National Review and Greg Corombos of Radio America examine the passing of Arizona Sen. John McCain. They discuss his military record as well as a legislative career that gave conservatives reasons to cheer and reasons to fume. They also call out the hypocrisy of the mainstream media, which provided adoring coverage for McCain when he was a thorn in the side of Republicans but trashed him viciously in 2008, when he was the final impediment to an Obama presidency, and at other times when he sided with fellow Republicans. And they shake their heads as President Trump spikes any sort of White House statement on McCain’s death and the White House raises flags back to full staff.

Won’t listen to 3 martini any more. You have plugged 3 commercial commercials into your podcast. Plus your own plugs. This is ridiculous for a paying member! You have gotten grubby. And to have to listen to your sometimes never-trumped stuff is just not worth it. I used to love your podcast, as I used to love Mona Charin, and Jay Norlinger but no more! You insult the people that support Donald Trump, BTW, he is also known as PRESIDENT Trump. Not Trump… You have no respect! Or is that R E S P I C T… Change, or be gone from me forever… sorry.
I’m sure the boys are in tears over your departure.
Guys, you criticize the media for being double minded with their criticism of McCain in the past and their praise of him now, then you criticize Trump for not praising him now after critiquing McCain in the past. Ummmm. Isn’t Trump at least being consistent? Even if he is being terse?
As for me I have the utmost respect for Senator McCain’s military service. But the president and the press get to say what they want. Free speech and all that …
