Join Jim and Greg as they serve up three very bitter martinis. First, it’s a double shot of bad as Sen. Joe Manchin abandons his inflation concerns to push corporate tax increases and hundreds of billions in climate change programs – and it’s all going to happen because the GOP got outsmarted by Senate Dems. They also fume as the Biden administration offers to free one of the world’s worst terrorists in exchange for two Americans held in Russia. And they lament a new Gallup poll showing that just 29 percent of Americans think couples with children should be married. And the numbers aren’t that much better among conservatives.

I’m not so sure anyone got outsmarted.  Except maybe the voters.

    Nuts!

Brushing off the dust and cobwebs:  “Jim Geraghty is always wrong.”

All sociology set aside, conservatives are grateful to unmarried mothers — for not killing their babies.

”You should wait until you finish your education and get married” is a common argument for abortion.

We’d be even more grateful if they didn’t get into that situation to start with.

Maybe — if he visits Iraq or Yemen or Libya …

Mostly for black teens, not so much for white teens.

But anyway, if you’re ready to give up on that, why not just give up on the rest too?

Apparently he is scheduled to be released from prison in a few years anyway. I’d rather he stay in prison forever but maybe this is as good an exchange as we’re going to get. These things are never a positive for the country wanting the imprisoned.

It used to be that the doublings of illegitimate/teen birth rates would be reported, but they can’t do that any more because it’s no longer possible for the rates to double.  Maybe that’s part of the problem:  it’s no longer so dramatic, so they just ignore it.  I call that BS.

That plays right into the Left’s hands.  They can do whatever they want, and we’re obligated to then “conserve” it because we’re not allowed to actually roll anything back.  I call that BS too.  And defeatist BS at that.

“Mr. Churchill, if you retreat from France, you might as well go ahead and surrender the British Isles as well.”  It’s a judgment call.

The Left would be ecstatic if, for example, conservatives openly advocated ending Social Security or Medicare.  Indeed, they constantly accuse conservatives of secretly wanting to end those programs.

I think there’s enough evidence out of the incredible lies concerning the sex Revolution. I think younger generations may be more open to messages of sex is for marriage, you should get married younger, and moms should be free to choose to work out of the home.

I think there is a lot of disillusionment with the current culture on sex.
