Join Jim and Greg as they are pleasantly stunned by CNN’s Don Lemon telling Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer that he seems more measured in his reaction to Biden possessing classified documents than he did to the Trump case. They also roll their eyes at the organization behind the “study” suggesting gas stoves are bad for respiratory health – and wonder if the 3 Martini Lunch is indirectly responsible for this nonsense. Finally, they go through the latest lies uncovered about Rep. George Santos, whether we know anything about this guy, and whether he can stay in Congress.

I watched Jim Geraghty in the appearance he mentions, on yesterday’s “Media Buzz”.   I was curious to see if he would live up to the maxim, “Jim Geraghty is always wrong.

    He did.

He sneeringly dismissed a statement by Donald Trump about the FBI plotting against him in the 2020 election.

Even though, with the Twitter revelations, we now know that the FBI unquestionably did plot against Donald Trump in the 2020 election.

BTW:  There’s an important principle to be learned here.

Regardless of who is in the White House, the FBI, the National Archives, and the rest of the Federal bureaucracy are always working for the Democratic Party.

Considering the voters chose a brain-dead Senator in Pennsylvania I don’t understand why I should get upset about a pathological liar in Congress. The only reason there is any chin-pulling over this is because Santos is a Republican. If he were a Democrat you could bet Geraghty and Corombos would not be spending a martini on it.

Didn’t people think smoking was fine, for generations, until it was discovered to be a problem?

Not that it’s a valid argument against gas stoves, but just the “generations” thing doesn’t really hold up. And that’s without getting to things like slavery.

    Meanwhile:

I think the point is that, given the vast expansion of public health statistics over the last 70 years, the idea that gas stoves could have been overlooked until now is highly implausible.

Add to that the fact that fossil fuels have been under attack for at least 35 years:  critics stumbled upon this finding only now?

To be fair, Sen. Fetterman is brain damaged, not brain dead.

The reason the Democratic machine promotes early voting (and late debates!) is so that its voters will know as little as possible about the candidates they are told to vote for.

As for Jim and Greg, sometimes it’s hard to tell the difference between a member of the conservative establishment, and a fake conservative working for the liberal establishment.

Here’s my new slogan:  “Jim Geraghty — for 20 years, finding conservative reasons to agree with liberals!”

Or a shorter version, “Conserving Liberalism for 20 years!”
