First, they get a kick out of Amy Klobuchar taking herself out of the Biden veepstakes when it was already pretty clear she would not be the choice, but they also appreciate her kneecapping Elizabeth Warren’s chances by saying the running mate should be a woman of color. But that gets complicated too, as Rob and Greg react to Black Lives Matter and National Action Network figures suggesting Florida Rep. Val Demings is not really black because she used to be a police officer. And they unpack a lefty blogger’s contention that conservatives should not be able to teach, coach, or be a boss of any kind because they supposedly don’t believe in equality.

What sometimes amuses me about that kind of thing is the number of people who seem to think they would belong there. Especially on his radio show, Dennis Miller used to talk about how he was “shrugging.” I commented a few times on the site back then, “Hey Dennis, you really don’t get to “shrug.” Don’t you realize that you’re one of the people who doesn’t actually produce anything?”

Yes, because there is the chance that a VP could become president, the VP must meet all the qualifications of President.
I seem to remember Ahnald being promoted as a VP candidate once, evidently someone thought it wasn’t a requirement then.
No, they talked about changing the Constitution to get rid of the “natural born” requirement. At the time, another contender on the other side was Jennifer Granholm, and she had more charisma than Ahnald.
I guess it didn’t seem serious enough to pay that much attention. :-)
