The conspiracy theory I’m seeing voiced against Kavenaugh is that he would be opposed to charges be filed against the President. Vox says, “Even more concerning for liberals, he has suggested enhancing the president’s power to block criminal and civil actions against him, a potentially worrisome position when the president nominating him is under investigation and facing multiple lawsuits.” Which is kind of odd to say about a guy who played a part in the only inpeachment of a U.S. President.
