Ricochet is the best place on the internet to discuss the issues of the day, either through commenting on posts or writing your own for our active and dynamic community in a fully moderated environment. In addition, the Ricochet Audio Network offers over 50 original podcasts with new episodes released every day.
Jim Geraghty of National Review and Greg Corombos of Radio America welcome a new Politico/Morning Consult poll showing more Americans now plan to vote for a Republican congressional candidate than for a Democrat, which is a big swing since in recent weeks. They also roll their eyes as Democrats and pundits fret that President Trump hasn’t given specific orders for the FBI to thwart Russian attempts to meddle in the midterm elections, when FBI Director Christopher Wray says they are on the case because it is their job after all. And they look at the Valentine’s Day tradition of columns by liberal women blaming men for their own relationship frustrations and the decline of modern romance.

I found the crazy martini to be quite accurate for me. I will not date a woman who voted for Trump in the primaries.
One problem I have with match.com is that the only choices are progressive, conservative, middle of the road, or none of the above. For me, I would like to list myself as “NeverTrump” meaning that I belong to the Party of Reagan and abhor what Trump has done to the body politic.
Reagan is probably looking down and shaking his head at you.
“Look Jesus, there he goes again” ;)
So, you would date a woman who voted for Trump in the general? Sounds like NeverTrumpLite to me. ;)
Voting for Trump in the general election is forgivable; consider who he was running against.
Voting for Trump in the primaries was unforgivable, every other Republican was better than him.
If I had it all my way, I would be with another NeverTrumper like me!
Hey, my last three posts were on immigration, infrastructure, and books that comfort, which got 20, 10 and 5 likes respectively.
But commenting on this issue was a hanging curve ball loitering over the plate. I couldn’t help myself.
Yes, it was a hanging curve ball for me too. No malice intended. Just having fun. Gary, I have to say. You are very good natured. You certainly take a lot of high and insides for your never ism. And you take them in a gentlemanly way. :) I like you
Thanks. You are welcome.
