I’m surprised that neither Jim nor Greg mentioned certain documented cases of happy couples of opposite political sympathies. I’m thinking of Mary Matalin and James Carville. Maybe also Mary Katherine Ham and her late husband Jake Brewer. If the rise of politically-driven divorces really has reached epidemic levels this fact might betoken a demand for a new life-coaching service, perhaps even a commercial opportunity for Mary Matalin and James Carville should they decide that their careers as political consultants have peaked.
Trump is unique among political figures. As a principled conservative, I will not date any woman who supports Trump as she has shown a lack of intellectual ability and ethical standards, and I would not be able to respect her.

Um, why are we wasting time talking about whether or not someone runs against Trump almost 4 years from now? Do you not understand that nobody cares right now? Please stop. There are hundreds of much more interesting subjects, as we try to fix America after 8 years of Obama. Just. Stop. Now.
