Join Jim and Greg in being relieved that the four days of propaganda known as the DNC are finally over. They also discuss Joe Biden’s speech and why he would not be a unifying figure on virtually any policy. And they hammer Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot for barring protests on her block while showing little regard for other neighborhoods.

I think the reason that they didnt go near the death of Joe Biden’s family, is that in the past, Joe Biden has been caught lying about it. You’d think that in an election where the truthfulness of your candidate is going to be a major issue, you’d pick someone who clearly remembers what awards they won in college, how many degrees they’ve earned or even how they paid for college. Instead of Joe Biden.

But what if a lot of people, especially… uhhh… certain minorities… won’t vote for a person like you suggest, but they WILL vote for Biden?

All these promos for spreaker.com….  I wish someone would tell would-be podcasters a version of one of Marge Simpson’s best observations:  “Any person can make a podcast, but most times you probably shouldn’t.”

Wait, the “failed candidates Zoom call” was a real thing?  I would have pegged it as the “cold open” for tomorrow night’s SNL.

Mayor Silvester Turner of Houston, lefty though he is, has done a good job of maintaining law and order in Houston. He may be the only sane Democrat politician in the country.

The Tim Allen sitcom Best Man Standing did a bit where one of the characters was recording a sitcom [edit:  D’oh!]  podcast.  He had another character on as a “guest”, and the guest asked “How many listeners do you have?”  He replied “Well, there are millions of podcast listeners out there.  But we have twelve.  And I’d like to say hello to Julie, Jim…”

Not sure how Tulsi “Came after the King” unless you think that’s Kamala— Gabbard was seen as saving Joe in the second debate by slicing and dicing Harris after she was seen as having momentum after the first debate. That makes Team Joe’s snub to Gabbard even more egregious, and looks in part because to do so would have embarrassed the VP nominee, not the guy at the top of the ticket.
