Jim is back and shares the highly entertaining albeit frustrating tale of the high-maintenance passenger on his return trip from California.  After detailing that saga, Jim and Greg are immensely entertained by national Democrats realizing only now what a train wreck of a nominee Bernie Sanders would be and scrambling to make sure he’s not the nominee.  They also weigh in on the latest political and media reaction to John Bolton allegedly confirming a quid pro quo with Ukraine, and while they admit there are grounds for debating Bolton’s tactics in recent months, the accusations he was never a conservative are ludicrous. And they unload on CNN, Don Lemon, and former Republican strategist Rick Wilson for their sneering mockery of Trump voters.

    1. On Karens, sometimes they need their phones gently removed from their hands and a ball gag gently inserted into their mouths.
    2. On Bolton, despite the possibly accurate leaks, we have no idea what he would be saying if he did testify. We know the publication that printed the supposed content makes stuff up or uses “sources” who lie. For all we know, The Walrus could go in and say, “I hate Trump, but he was doing the right thing here,” as several current and former ambassadors did in earlier testimony.
    3. On mocking Trump voters, I am reminded about the Yale professor who thought tea party people were morons. He did a study and found that those who identified with the tea party were smarter, more educated, and better informed than any other group, including Progressives.

One must be suspicious, if that “study” wasn’t immediately memory-holed.

It pretty much was. Not only that, he said, “Well, just because they aren’t stupid doesn’t mean they’re good people.”

    Interesting, that’s how I see liberals.  :-)

Although as Reagan said, “The problem with our liberal friends is not that they’re ignorant.  It’s that they know so much that isn’t so.”

I think so. But as more of these Project Veritas videos come out showing how Marxists are in the democrat party (just through the Bernie campaign so far – but would it surprise you that nearly all the campaigns have staffers just as violent?

I am wondering if there isnt a fair part of the democrat party understands the outcomes of their policies, and are evil or crazy enough to support it anyway?

Remember that James Hodgkinson was also a Bernie volunteer and Rachel Maddow fan. Was he just the first?

That’s pretty difficult to believe.  It does seem more likely that most of them are just ignorant of what real socialism would be like.  If they knew what it really is, and how they would really live under it, why would they think it’s a good idea?  Can they ALL believe that THEY would be the ones on top and not actually living under socialism themselves? I suppose THAT would be evil.

How are ‘Karens’ different from ‘Beckys’? Are Beckys only what black folk call white gals? Are Karens what everyone calls white gals? I just am really out of the loop.

It’s not just white gals. It’s the type who is an oblivion and wants to see the manager over nothing. Try this for a clearer understanding:

As always with the UD, may have untoward language.

“The accusations he [John Bolton] was never a conservative are ludicrous.”

Well, yeah.  But not one of the three sound clips Jim Geraghty provides says that!

Bolton is accused of being a disgruntled, fired employee; of being more of an interventionist than Trump is; and of being naturally treacherous.

The first two accusations are entirely true; the third, by Tucker Carlson, is silly, but it still doesn’t accuse Bolton of not being a conservative.

P.S.: Oh, yeah.  I forgot:  “Jim Geraghty is always wrong.”

And both are looking in the mirror.

To deal with a “Karen” on a plane, merely whisper in her ear, “If you annoy the flight attendant, she can have you arrested!”

P.S.:  I’ve never encountered this usage of “Karen” before.

Probably not enough with most Karens.
