Ricochet is the best place on the internet to discuss the issues of the day, either through commenting on posts or writing your own for our active and dynamic community in a fully moderated environment. In addition, the Ricochet Audio Network offers over 50 original podcasts with new episodes released every day.
Join Jim and Greg as they welcome the news that Senate Democrats are running out of time – and don’t have the votes – to pass major priorities on the left. They also groan at actor John Cena’s nauseating apology to China, for simply referring to Taiwan as a country during an interview promoting his new movie. And they shake their heads as Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene likens a grocery store chain identifying employees who have been vaccinated to the Nazis forcing Jews to wear yellow stars.

It may seem a bit overblown now, but how else to describe “vaccine passports” and “your papers, please!”
Aside from being in bad taste like most Holocaust analogies, MTG‘s is faulty.
Wearing a yellow star did not grant privileges, to put it mildly, while being vaccinated does; e.g., not having to wear a mask in some venues. It’s more like a gold star than a yellow star.
Of course, painting MTG as a Holocaust denier when she is guilty of no more than bad taste is par for the course, when progressives are attacking anyone on the right.
