Hey, we finally we have a good martini and it only took us until Thursday! Today, Jim Geraghty of National Review and Greg Corombos of Radio America appreciate a bipartisan group of lawmakers blasting the NBA for kowtowing to China. They also slam the Biden campaign for whining that the New York Times is making common cause with Breitbart.com by covering Hunter Biden’s overseas activities. And they hammer President Trump for not worrying if thousands of ISIS prisoners go free because of Turkey’s attack on the Kurds because most would only wind up in Europe again.

Here’s a thought: if Europe doesn’t want ISIS prisoners/soldiers running around in Europe, maybe Europe could send some people down to keep them corralled?

So, the obvious solution is to execute the ISIS fighters immediately before they can get away in the chaos?

Do others get ads for events in Henderson, Nevada in the podcast? I’m wondering if those are national or is there somehow an attempt at localization. Henderson is about 500 miles away.

No, those ads are localized. I get some targeted for Michigan.

I figured so but wonder how it’s done since I download the file.

I don’t know, but it sounds like slick tech.

I have to confess, there’s something deeply satisfying about the notion of ISIS POWs running around Europe causing mischief, especially if they land on Angela Merkel‘s doorstep.

N.B.: Jim does a poor job of distinguishing between an actual national security threat and a potential national security threat. As far as I know, those 11,000 religion-of-peaceniks are still locked up.

Mulling over Trump’s comment, I think his point is that the Kurds fought ISIS because it was in their interest to do so, not as a favor to us.

Thus, his (arguable) point is that we don’t owe them anything above and beyond what we already gave them.
