I can see how someone in Hollyweird voting for Biden could only help their career in a theoretical or administrative kind of way, but still, once BLM/Antifa burn down the studios and their gated mansions etc, they’re still screwed.
On the Thanksgiving rules, the real problem is protecting old people. This is ignored.
From the start, liberals have — tacitly — been taking the position that, if we let young people know how little danger COVID-19 is to them, they won’t take the precautions we want them to. So the policy all along has been to conceal or downplay the fatality rate by age. (In fact, I posted about this several times, in March.)
This is similar to the policy, during the AIDS epidemic, of concealing the fact that heterosexuals were in little danger. The motivation that time was money: they wanted to shift billions of research dollars from cancer to AIDS, even though cancer kills 20 times as many people.
It’s the classic case of the overloaded sled pursued by wolves through the Russian forest.
As needed, they kick the lowest ranking serf off the sled to slow the wolves down.
