Join Jim and Greg as they discuss Attorney General Bill Barr stating there is not enough evidence of fraud to overturn the presidential election and the very different opinion many Trump supporters now have of Barr. They also cringe as Minneapolis reports a 537 percent rise in carjackings compared to this time last year following this year’s riots and anti-police attitudes from local politicians. And they get a kick out of Barack Obama telling progressives that “catchy slogans” are not the path to political progress.

Remember, Jim Geraghty is always wrong. He apparently doesn’t understand what Attorney General Barr actually said:
Barr told the AP that U.S. attorneys and FBI agents have been working to follow up specific complaints and information they’ve received, but “to date, we have not seen fraud on a scale that could have effected a different outcome in the election.”

Barr’s statement is consistent with finding enough fraud to flip the results in, say, two states, but not three, so that with or without fraud Joe Biden would still be the winner in the Electoral College.
We would expect the Democrats to deploy irregular measures in states where Biden‘s lead was in jeopardy, not necessarily when Trump was ahead. In other words, fraud was insurance that Biden’s narrow leads in certain states would hold up.
It’s quite possible that, in the end, fraud proved unnecessary to deliver enough swing states to Biden.
Also maybe not only shouldn’t the Democrats have a slogan of “Defund the Police” but maybe they shouldn’t do it. With Obama and the Dems it’s ‘don’t say what you want to do with your power so you won’t scare the poor unwashed’ but go ahead a do it. They never have the courage of their convictions.
