Ricochet is the best place on the internet to discuss the issues of the day, either through commenting on posts or writing your own for our active and dynamic community in a fully moderated environment. In addition, the Ricochet Audio Network offers over 50 original podcasts with new episodes released every day.
Finish your work week with Friday’s Three Martini Lunch. Join Jim and Greg as they applaud Attorney General Bill Barr for telling President Trump that his tweets on prosecutions and more make it hard to do his job and they discuss why Democrats are so determined to discredit Barr. They also welcome news that Bernie Sanders is not doing well among voters who have private health insurance and that New Hampshire might be winnable for Republicans for the first time in 20 years if Sanders is the Democratic nominee. And they get a kick out of the news that Michael Bloomberg has hired the same PR firm behind the Fyre Fest debacle, but Jim also dives into the significance of Bloomberg’s bottomless campaign war chest.

Mini Mike is even bothering me, and the only ads I ever hear are on Ricochet podcasts.
Is Bloomberg the modern Crassus?
Remember, Jim Geraghty is always wrong.
@6:45 — “Look, if Roger Stone were just some schmoe who’d never met the President, you know, President Trump would not be jumping onto Twitter to denounce the Department of Justice prosecutors for having harsh sentences. Um, he doesn’t care about harsh sentences. He is usually saying law and order — we’ve got to get tough on people. But as soon as Roger Stone gets convicted of something, well, now it’s time for mercy. Now he likes criminal justice reform.”

This is like shooting fish in a barrel. You know, I joke about Jim being “always wrong”; but, the fact is, his bias against Trump makes him a bad journalist and an unreliable commentator on that subject.
Ah, but he only did those things to give him cover for his malfeasance regarding convicted subordinates!
You can expect to be offered your own Ricochet podcast and National Review column any day now!
No thanks, I already did my time being productive. Now I just expect other people to do their jobs as well as I did mine. Which, sadly, is too often in vain.
I’m not sure the word, “productive”, is exactly the first word that jumps to mind when I think about what Jim G. is doing …
Well he’s the sole support for the complaining-about-Jim-G. industry… :-)
Yes, the Republicans should win just because of “Medicare for all.” But those people Jim talked to didn’t know/didn’t believe that “Medicare For All” means “Medicare FOR ALL.” And there’s a whole lot of people that Jim HASN’T talked to, nor has anyone else straightened them out. In addition, a lot of those people who have seen the truth, will just go back to sleep in (what passes for) their brain, or they’ll figure that Congress will keep it from going that far, etc etc. And they’ll vote for Bernie or Warren etc anyway.
