I think in Vermont, when single payer was passed, then rescinded, hospitals and doctors would not take cuts. I don’t recall that being in this conversation. I don’t see how everyone can get what they want, when they want it and as much as they want. All the political shell games of trying to guess who needs what and at how much are just poor imitations of what the free market does more efficiently.
