Hey Bluey (I hope you don’t mind the informality, Blue Yeti), The Libertarian has failed to come through on the Superfeed for several weeks at least. I use iTunes, and it stops immediately, citing error 3253. The further message given when clicking on the ‘i’ button when the download fails is ‘The network connection was reset.’

    I hope that helps.

I think the problem is that supply and demand theory assumes that market entry and exit is instant and free.  The issue of time creates a dead weight loss which is either paid by the consumers or the incumbents.

Housing entry and exit even from the consumer perspective is not immediate and free, so regulations to resolve certain dilemmas that this creates, is prudential and wise.  ESPECIALLY when the value of property is principally in the conditional network effects of the community.
