James talks at length with his very special guest: Prof. Dolores Cahill, a world renowned scientific expert who has advised, amongst others, the Irish government and the EU. Her background is immunology and she and James discuss the science of viruses and the absence of scientific thinking behind and the futility of the worldwide lockdown and the terrible potential knock on effects

Very interesting talk. These lock downs will become the largest boondoggle in human history, and the single largest mistake of the century.

I was listening with an open mind until she mentioned Dr. Mikovits and then I turned it off.

She makes some interesting points, but on the whole she isn’t particularly credible. She seems to be a professional crusader, off on too many quests. When she spoke about the virus and the manner in which immunity is acquired, she sounded reasonable. However, once she started talking about her political things, she lost me. I know she isn’t an antivaxer, but she sounded like so many of them, throw in a fact or two here and then go off on a tangent.

I have listened to a lot of “experts” through the last couple of months. I really don’t know how valuable the lockdown has been. I don’t think it has been particularly useful in the area I live in. We get one or two new cases a week, the entire county gets, perhaps 10 to 15 new cases a day in a population that of approximately 900,000. So far the total diagnosed cases amount to less than 1800 for the county, approximate 5o deaths, all older people with “underlying conditions.” I do wonder whether the draconian rules are really of any value, or whether they are causing far greater damage than they are preventing. I was really looking for some confirmation in this interview, but it gave me nothing of any real value, certainly nothing I had not heard before in one form or another.

She lost me when she started talking about Mikovit’s video being removed and deleted. I wish. That thing was viral! I lost count of the number of times it was sent to me with the warning “Watch this before “they” remove it!”

I just watch the first few minutes of the video. It was very easy to find. It reminds me of the videos I saw a few years after the 9/11 attacks which claimed that the buildings were not brought down by the planes, but rather by explosives strategically placed because they did not meet building standards and would eventually be exposed.

I am more than skeptical about any of these conspiracy theories. When I was a stock broker back in the early to mid 1980s I did a lot of cold calling. A couple of times a week I would get someone on the phone who would tell me about elaborate plots to change the look of currency for some obscure reason that I never quite got, or some gold bug who only wanted to accumulate physical gold. Nearly 40 years later none of the plots I was told of have come to fruition, at least not to my knowledge.

The concept that lab rats and other organisms used to grow viruses or antibodies could have contamination from other unrelated bugs seems a bit of a stretch. All animals used in experimentation are specifically bred and grown to be completely consistent and totally unaffected by any contaminants. The concept of cross-viral contamination is a very big stretch. Literally dozens of scientists and researchers have been interviewed over the last couple of months. There are, unquestionably, real disagreements on a lot of different issues, but this woman the Delingpole interviewed for this podcast is way out in left field, maybe not even in the same ballpark as the researchers who I have heard speak.

I don’t even remember that and have not followed that controversy.

Vaccinations, medicine, and food are not magic. I think it is important to remember that some people can react in unusual ways to things that would never bother another person.

I don’t know how accurate some of her claims are.

I think the virus should be small to enter a mask, but I think the mask allows you to better control the air around you. I think the masks have helped is some of the Far East Asian mask-wearing cultures.

My biggest objections to the lockdown involve how this long-term authority is derived from the U.S. Constitution, how the elites are depriving many people from making any money at all even if they use things like masks and latex gloves, and the idea that the beloved Leftist tax money has to come from an actual source of working which they hate. Or as Rush Limbaugh essentially said many years ago, what would the entire country be like if all the citizens suddenly decided to quit working?
