James talks to Calvin Robinson, co-host of Political Dregs Podcast and Campaign Champion of DefundTheBBC, about the trials of being a school teacher when you are a conservative, ‘diversity’ casting and, of course, the mindblowing awfulness of the BBC and why it needs defunding NOW

Way back when, I was a computer science major in college.  This was when Ronald Reagan was president.  We almost never discussed politics in class, or in the informal discussions after class.  We did not have Python back then; we mostly used Pascal.

On the STEM “fetish”, and even more so in computers, there is the emphasis on “truth”, as you put it.  If it works it works.  If it does not work, it’s hard to fake it.  In the humanities or social sciences, it’s not as difficult to fake it.  1+1=2.  Not 1+1=2.375.

In the Soviet Union, people who couldn’t stomach the regime’s lies and absurdities would go into STEM as a sort of refuge.

People who can’t stomach progressivism’s lies and absurdities, I am sure, are doing the same thing today in US universities.
