White House Whoppers, Toxic Males, and Buzzkills

Is BuzzFeed’s story a blockbuster or a bust? Can Gillette clean up toxic masculinity? Does McDonald’s deliver to the White House? The intro/outro song and Jon’s song of the week is “Clean Up” by Pedro the Lion. Stephen’s song of the week is “Death in Midsummer” by Deerhunter. Now that Quip has banned Ben Shapiro for speaking at the March for Life, I encourage you to consider dropping Quip.

Vice Versa was the film that Fred Savage switched places with his dad, Judge Reinhold. @garyrobbins – I think better than dropping Quip, I think every conservative podcast sponsored by Quip should heap praise on the March for Life in the time before and after the ads.

    Here is Quip’s statement:

“Our mission is to make good oral health more accessible to everyone, and podcast advertising is one way we’re able to realize this. However, following one of our ads being read in a venue we did not endorse, we have chosen to discontinue our advertising relationship with this show. We are also taking steps to ensure all of our partners are aligned with our oral health mission and values.”

One wonders what kind of “oral health mission and values” exclude a pro-life venue or stance. Pro-Life would appear to ensure that more people with teeth may in the future choose to use Quip for their oral health, but hey, what do I know.

One wonders why Quip advertises here. Was it a mistake, or did some ‘woke’ person just get a position with more authority on marketing positions

I was thinking about getting a Quip. Think I’ll get a subscription to Ben Shapiro’s podcasts instead.
