Wait, you mean they have to live with the consequences of their decisions?

The cultural revolution of the last few weeks. I realized I was spending an unhealthy amount of time watching society lose its mind and that there were better things to do with one’s life. Nuked all my social media and now, when I have the urge to reach for my phone, I turn to a book instead. Recommended.

If you’re talking about the progressive elite, we have to live with the consequences of their decisions.

They don’t; they have gated communities and private schools.

I call it cheap virtue: a billionaire gets to keep his money, guilt-free, because he is in favor of the government (read: other people) helping the poor.

People who live in de facto segregated, wealthy communities can go on living there, guilt-free, because they speak in favor of racial integration, always somewhere else.

Not surprisingly, all these Emperors in New Clothes react violently when someone points out they are naked.

It’s not just the “protesters”/rioters, that applies to Democrat voters in general too.
