Caution:  The first 12 minutes are for fans of Mr. Hankey only.

Correction:  The Man from UNCLE was terrible.  That’s the recent movie, not the series from the Sixties.

P.S.:  Our experience with Spectrum over the last few years in upstate New York has been quite good. They come very quickly and get the job done very quickly.

My presumption is, they are making out like bandits on our cable subscription, and want that to continue.

And they must have competition, or they wouldn’t need to give a damn.

The competition is the streaming services, a.k.a. “cutting the cord”, a phrase that must chill them to the bone.

But those people who “winter in Florida” will be in Florida on Election Day in November, won’t they?

Shouldn’t they be voting in Florida, instead of Iowa?

Well, a lot of them are probably voting in BOTH places.

    Especially if they’re Democrats.

    And even if they’re dead.

Wow, four out of four promos in Spanish today!  That music thing, whatever it is, must be getting close.

    But streaming is internet.

Who do you get your internet service from?

    Spectrum?

I do, but it’s not the only alternative.  For example, I am constantly getting ads from HughesNet (satellite internet) and FIOS.

Also, if I purchase just Internet service from Spectrum, that would probably cut back my payment to them by about 75%.

For lower cost, sure.  But if they have technical/customer service problems, those are just as likely to affect their internet service as anything else.

Also, sometimes places like Hughesnet sends out ads, but if you try to sign up, you find out they can’t actually offer service, sometimes just because they’re “full” in your area.  And satellite internet isn’t very good, if it’s available at all, in higher latitudes.

Had to forward through 5 minutes of that story about a literal crap.  Please spare me stuff like that.
