The original, theatrical release of Blade Runner is a great movie. The Director’s Cut is not. It still looks good, but the point and the sense are gone.
Blade Runner 2049 is a dumbed down sequel, which is why the guys say it’s simpler and easier to follow.
R. Lee Ermey was also great in the start of the Fox series Space: Above And Beyond.
