loathe Cillizza on Kornheiser because he wants to be the funny one

but there’s no better bit than making JVL mad about not going to Georgetown

Cillizza was almost tolerable here, but I agree, he’s awful on the TK show.  I get the sense he thinks us hating him is a kind of joke and part of a shtick he’s doing, and that’s what makes him funny.  Just in case you’re reading, Chris: it’s real, we really can’t stand you, your pathetic attempts to be funny, and the way your lame interruptions derail a conversation.  The only thing you are worse at is being a so-called journalist.

Hey I am a supporter of a video review show called Popcorned planet.  It does Movie Fights with one group of nerds fighting other fighters over Movies.  Would any of the Sub Beacon guys be interested in that?

I know that the host wants to do more with conservatives and I naturally thought of this show as the best reviewers we could send.  I guess I could always ask John Podheretz…

    My god, this episode.

I would have paid a lot of money to see Sonny’s reactions to it.

One of the things I admire about the guys is their willingness to fully commit to long-form trolling. But I’ll be honest: this almost broke me.

This is the worst episode I can remember.

Over half of the podcast is about Georgetown and environs, and then they don’t really talk about current movies? Cillizza was fine, but it didn’t help that he also went to Georgetown. Look, guys, sometimes your digressions about your college days or your shared pasts are mildly amusing, but as for me:

-I didn’t grow up on the east coast.

-I didn’t go to college on the east coast.

-There’s nothing special to me about Georgetown.

-I haven’t spent any time driving in D.C., nor much in the New Jersey area.

Now, it doesn’t seem too egocentric to think that I am not alone among the listeners. Therefore, if you all insist on yammering about this stuff, please keep it short. The dudes don’t read these comments, but I wanted to vent.

If they end up having to replace Sonny (perish the thought, but I expect it’s only a matter of time), I hope they can convince Matt Continetti to take the Bunch Chair. This Chris Cillizza guy (who I have never heard of before) is…not much of a draw.
