Canadians feel about hockey, roughly the same way American’s fell about Basketball.
Just hand out the gold medal at the opening ceremony and y’all can play for silver… So she very much expected to win gold, I dont think she meant disrespect or poor sportsmanship, she was disappointed – monumentally so.
April sounds so much more lively here. Don’t know why, she sounds “low energy” on other episodes.
Yeah I understood why she took the medal off and I didn’t read anything into it. The United States teams felt the same way when they got the silver. They didn’t “win the silver” they “lost the gold”,,,over time she’ll appreciate it more, but at that moment, it feels like mockery.
Silver is the least popular of the three medals.
