Patrice Onwuka joins the podcast to discuss California’s Assembly Bill 5, or what is better known as AB5. Patrice Onwuka, is a senior policy analyst at Independent Women’s Forum. She has worked in the advocacy and communications fields for more than a decade. Prior to joining IWF, Patrice served as national spokeswoman and communications director at Generation Opportunity, and worked at The Philanthropy Roundtable and the Fund for American Studies in policy and media roles.     Love for California to put a stake in the heart of this law. At least, maybe just maybe, all the consequences will keep other legislators from enacting something similar.
