Luis Elizondo, who worked on the UFO team at the Pentagon, doesn’t hold back with Sara in this episode about the U.S. government’s probe into UFOs. For decades, governments have known about unidentified aerial phenomena, but this is the first you’ll hear about what they know.

Our astrophysicist son has always been dismissive of UFO reports. Wow! Wait til I play Sara Carter’s incredible conversation with Luis Elizondo in the morning! Words truly fail. Wow!

As a skeptic about everything, I really want to follow this story.

I’ve always been curious about UFOs, and I realize that they do indeed exist, but even though I actually know very little about them, I’m highly confident that they’re absolutely not occupied by intelligent extra-terrestrial beings.

Very interesting. I’ve always been skeptical of many sightings given how easily photography and video can be faked. But the “Tic-Tac” incident and the credibility given it points to some very serious concerns.

The extreme acceleration and G-forces described (over 500 to 600Gs), make it unlikely that a life-form or life-forms are inside these craft and it’s more likely that they are un-piloted but extremely intelligent craft that can sense when they are being monitored or threatened. If they are submersible then should we presume that they are exploring life forms in our oceans? Are they charting the ocean bed for the plate tectonic boundaries? Taking samples of ocean water? Actually capturing undersea creatures?

If incidents of sightings at Air Force or ICBM installations are verified as accurate, then it seems that these craft also have the ability to detect nuclear/fissionable material and can possibly discern correctly that these are weapons. Hence the national/international security concerns.

If these are benign craft on exploratory missions to survey Earth and its life forms, one has to wonder what the aim is. Colonization? Extermination? Extermination of humanity but preserve other life forms that don’t pose a threat?

The next question then becomes, is there a mothership somewhere where these craft return to and where is that craft likely located? If these ‘drones’ are capable of such incredible speeds in Earth atmosphere, how fast are they in deep space and how long would it take to get back to a mothership, if the mothership is several light years away or just outside our solar system? Or positioned behind Jupiter or Saturn? Do they even have to get back to a mothership to transmit their findings?

What wasn’t touched on in the interview is that there are claims that the US government or other parties may have a few extraterrestrial craft in their possession.

All of this news is quite stunning especially given the chaos in America and around the world at the moment. There are radical forces attempting to tear down civilization while our global civilization may be being scrutinized by much more intelligent beings.

Would it be useful for humanity to get really scared of UFOs so we could unite in xenophobia? In the Halo videogame series, humanity stopped warring at each other only when we discovered hostile aliens.

OK. Serious question, did Reagan and the USSR know about the UFOs and was Reagan subtly suggesting to the USSR that they shouldn’t fight because of the UFO threat? What did the USSR think about the UFOs? What does China think about it now?

It’s a weird thing to think about but it doesn’t seem unreasonable given the evidence.

That’s a good question. There’s rampant speculation and arguments to this day on whether he had been briefed or not.

Really good show. Really interesting guests/topics….but…gently and respectfully, as if you were my daughter, and as smart and sophisticated as you clearly are, you need to focus on not using ‘LIKE’ more than some valley girls I’ve run into. Perhaps it’s my mistake but you and John Podhoretz use ‘like’ so often that it will shortly be unavailable for the rest of us! You two will have used it all up!
