The Biden administration’s schizophrenic approach to the Israel-Hamas war is making everyone mad. Biden rightly condemned the unspeakable atrocities committed by Hamas against thousands of Israelis and clearly affirmed Israel’s right to defend itself. But he’s also promising $100 million for relief in Gaza under the absurd premise that Hamas won’t touch it. Meanwhile, his administration is also urging Israeli restraint behind the scenes.
At the same time, Biden is facing a revolt among young leftists, who are upset that Biden is not more staunchly aligning with the Palestinians and may not support him next year.
