tumblr_inline_nnpeiadT201rvy39o_540This week, we’re giving the regular crew off so we can bring you this special edition of the Ricochet  Podcast featuring our entire editorial staff. Troy Senik, Jon Gabriel, Claire Berlinski, Tom Meyer, and Rob Long gather together (well, virtually though the magic of Skype) to opine on Trump and how he harms Jeb’s (!) chances at winning the nomination. Also, the future of education, a certain Rico Editor’s man crush on Alexander Hamilton, and why Ricochet has become the web’s number one venue for janitorial insights.

The two go hand-in-hand very well; think of online stuff as a supplement to home schooling, or a resource for home schoolers to use.

Oh, we do! I took 4 AP classes online during high school, and then (well, after college) I taught online English courses to homeschoolers for 7 years. The internet has been a boon for homeschooling parents.

A semi-Likekian Segue by Senick turns a great courses commercial into a thought provoking 20 minute discussion on education for the skill set society of the early twentieth century.
As a grandparent of 6 , all navigating through what passes for K-12 public education in Obamas America, the need to supplement public learning with private Sector wisdom is glaring. Attempts to inform their parents, my direct offspring, results in eye rolling ” there he goes again”.

Packaging this discussion, or a retake into a”listen to this” could be a forward able brand builder for ricochet .

Make sure great courses hears this , under the heading of getting your money’s worth. Leaves PBS in the dust!
