Here’s the audio from our Ricochet Meet-up at Galway Pub in mid-town Manhattan. Rob Long hosts John Podhoretz, Ann Coulter (buy her new book Never Trust a Liberal Over Three-Especially a Republican) Tommy DeSeno, and of course, our beloved Ricochet members.

Special thanks to Ricochet member Dick From Brooklyn for the location scouting, PJS for the name tags, and everyone else for attending. It was great fun!

It was a great podcast and a great time. I very much enjoyed putting faces to screen names.

Once I get out from under I’m going to scout out the Max’s at the Basketball HOF for the New England meet up!

Cornell Burnett at 1:10:15 For The Win:

I think what we need to do is change the messaging.  Right now you’ve got a lot of people, with income inequality and so forth, I think Conservatism ultimately helps that problem, but we don’t package it right.  If you just say, oh, we can’t raise taxes because the rich guy’s not going to hire you, if I’m a poor person, that’s not gonna help me.

I think the best thing that meets the Conservative Party is reading a guy like Milton Friedman, because everything he did, he brought it back to poor people.

Really great podcast.  The live audience really adds to it.  Wish I could have been there.

Good times! Can’t wait for the next meet up! I’m the MTA cop that Ann bestowed God’s blessings upon (at about the 46:00 mark)… It was great meeting the men behind the voices of my favorite podcasts.  Wish I could’ve gotten a pic with Ann, but she scooted on me!

Speak for yourself. I got pretty ripped up and couldn’t find the PATH station to get home. Only showed up at work ten minutes late the next morning! · October 17, 2013 at 1:08pm

Well there you are!  I’ve been waiting for you to post.

Man, can I make a plug for a North Carolina meet-up (preferably in Chapel Hill, haha). Can I also say that that Cornell fellow was excellent, I want to hear more from him.

You’re not touching Rob, are you?  You know Rob doesn’t like to be touched.  Right?
