I’m all for civility, but Jonah’s example that “some guy in a dress must have read books to kids a century ago and nobody cared” is a ludicrous comparison to today’s drag queen story hour. IF it happened, which I highly doubt, the guy in the dress was not doing it with the sanction of the local officials at a public library, nor did he have an entire national media/government complex behind him seeking to normalize for all time drag queen interactions with young children.

That was a very good show. Too much to remember to be able to even comment on.

I don’t know that anyone thinks the entire federal system needs to be re-worked because of “Drag Queen Story Time” etc, as Jonah seems to be wildly claiming. The problem is when “the other side” uses the federal system to prevent the localities – and individual parents – from doing anything about it if they choose to do so.

One item I hope to remember is David Bahnsen’s use of the phrase

    “juxtapose it all together.”

Wildly? For Jonah, such characterization is routine.

Your point about the federal hammer coming down on local families is well taken.

If it becomes law, the Democrats’ equality act will effectively end women’s Athletics, by demanding that boys be permitted to compete as women if they so choose.

Hey Jonah – do you happen to know anyone who might be in a position to comment on such a possibility? Say someone who … oh, I don’t know, wrote a book about the unintended consequences of Title IX? That would be a great podcast guest.
