For podcast sidekick Jack Butler’s last appearance on the Remnant as such, he turns the tables by asking Jonah the questions that he’s been meaning to ask for a long time: about drugs and alcohol, punching homeless people, getting punched by Irishmen, and more.

I’m really enjoying The Jack Butler Show, with guest Jonah Goldberg.

Does Jonah not remember that in The Six Million Dollar Man, Sasquatch wasn’t a living creature? It was a robot, created by aliens as a distraction and protection system.

And while it was referred to as both Sasquatch and Bigfoot in the episodes, the 2-part episode was actually called “The Legend Of Bigfoot.”

Jack: If you liked “The Moon Is A Harsh Mistress” you should try “Millenium” by Ben Bova. It’s a somewhat similar story, but written more than a decade after “Moon” and Bova was more of an actual scientist so you get more realism than Heinlein was capable of.

There was also a sequel, “Kinsman.”

“Is your name not Jack Butler?”

    “No, it’s Michael.”

“That’s going to cause a little confusion. Mind if we call you Jack Butler to keep it clear?”
