Joyce observes that strange bedfellows like Democrat James Carville and former Republican Rick Wilson both understand “It’s the Economy Stupid” – and, yes, character matters.

First of all, Joe Biden hasn’t won. It takes more than a bunch of media whores declaring him the winner for that win to be legit.
Furthermore, if character mattered to you, Joyce, you wouldn’t be endorsing rancid racist twitter-pornographer and grifter Rick Wilson.
Hey Drew — by training I’m an economist. I can count! As the votes continue to come in, it is clear that Joe Biden will be the President of the United States on January 20,2021.
Biden will finish with a significantly larger majority of the ballots cast in the swing states than Trump”s 77,000 in 2016. His popular vote margin will, also, be larger than Hillary’s.
The only difference is the length of time needed to count mail-in votes in states that don’t usually vote that way. That’s an operational not a legal problem. Congress could have solved it — and should try, again, in the next session to vote the funds to upgrade our election administration equipment.
If you are still worried about mail ballots think about this: those last ballots being counted in Georgia — the one’s that guarantee the margin of Biden victory is outside reversal, in a recount, came from US Military personnel stationed overseas — whose ballots are always mail in ballots and always the last to be received. And usually lean Republican. This time they broke for Biden.
A whole lot of people, moi included, stuck to our conservative principles — voting for shared governance. Yes, we are a center right country.
As to Rick Wilson, you were his champion when he was making Rudy G. the mayor of New York.
Personally, I’m a Stuart Stephens and Tim Miller fan — and a loyal follower of both Jonah Goldberg and David French — throw in Tom Nichols and Eric Erickson — and you still haven’t found a life-long Republican who did not wish for or vote for or pray for Joe Biden — because we BELIEVE IN AMERICAN EXCEPTIONALISM —
I am proud to stand in the middle of American political thought with George W. Bush, Cindy McCain and Ben Sasse.
I hope in your heart you can find it possible to believe in democratic principles and the US Constitution, again.
No I wasn’t.
Do you approve of Rick Wilson tweeting fantasies about the President having sex with his own daughter? Because that’s the guy you champion.
These are all awful people who you’ve aligned yourself with. That David French can continue to claim to be pro-life while voting for the most extreme pro-abotion platform ever only proves what a fraud he is.
And Tom Nichols is still peddling the Russian Collusion hoax.
All these people must be shoved out of our tent if we are ever to get back to principled conservatism. They have none.
I haven’t changed.
