If I just wanted to hear anti-Trump rhetoric, I need go no further than MSNBC, which is where this podcast would fit right in.
Wow, it sounds like I need to listen to this podcast!
You’ll love it.
It’s OK, the visceral bile is tamped down to a tolerable level. I’m OK with it.
Other than the anti-Trump bitterness, Reimagine America is a very good podcast that attempts to discuss solutions to problems we face today.
I would be curious to know sometime whether Joyce’s objection to Trump fits in the David French (Trump is a terrible person), Bill Kristol (Trump is not a neo-conservative interventionalist), or Robert Mueller (Trump is not a Pro-Washington DC Elite) mold. Perhaps all 3.
Joyce is a racist bigot. Shame.
That is what I liked about her; she criticized Trump without going over the top.
Thanks, Gary —
I try to think for myself — do the research before opening my mouth!
I’d agree with Goldwaterwoman that MSNBC needs more centrist commentary —
FOX does as well —
Joyce
@moneyman
I am not bitter about Trump — I just see him as part of the problem and not part of the 21st century solutions we need.
Yup, I follow David French — who, also, does not follow the Washington D.C. elite!
And I agree with him that we need more journalists who come from the heartland!
We need more dialogue and less rhetoric —
Thanks for commenting!
@olddanrhody
Thanks — I think!
BTW it’s not bile — it’s fear of what happens when the other shoe drops!
@Fourth the Sixth —
Nope — there isn’t a racially bigoted bone in my body —
That’s why I called out the pandering: trying to build a winning political coalition by appealing to one specific issue considered the GOTV priority for that group — one group at a time — could be ethnic, racial, economic, education-level, gun-rights — whatever.
Versus trying to build a winning strategy that unifies us regardless of color, economic status and country of origin into one citizenry working to build a 21st pre-eminent democratic power able to insure the global rules-based international order established after WWII.
Sorry but a couple of cliches fit here:
A rising tide (innovative, economic) raises all boats —
I judge people less by the color of their skin and more by the “content of their character” —
