What a depressing section with the former secretary. When becoming secretary, he asks Trump who he reports to. Why me of course. Yeah, that’s what the Constitution says but who do I really report to? In past, secretaries went through the chief of staff. With Trump, he went straight to him and got answers in 24 hours. No wonder the administrative state hated him.
