Q&A1400x1400Dana Perino is a star of Fox News — a co-host of “The Five.” She was press Perino_headshot_610x488_px-resizedsecretary to George W. Bush. She is the author of a best-selling new book: “And the Good News Is . . .: Lessons and Advice from the Bright Side.” And she is Jay’s guest on this latest “Q&A.”

They talk about a smorgasbord, including Republicans, Democrats, Bushes, Obama, the media, and the current GOP field. Also, Dana talks a little music — she was once a country-western DJ.

According to Jay, Dana is one of America’s Sweethearts. (The title was first held by Mary Pickford, who was born in Canada. Dana is true-blue — a Wyomingite and Coloradan.)

Saw a fragment of May C-SPAN interview last week. Swell it was. Zoxed the replay overnight. Looking forward to watching it in full. And this (haven’t listened yet).

Her support of GWB is justified. Not sure yet what Ball Diamond Ball means. It is often hard to discern tone in text, especially short text.

Nice house, but nobody’s home. I always thought she looked like a deer in headlights as WH press secretary. She was a big step down from Tony Snow and Ari Fleischer.

I’d much rather see a Ricochet feature on women of consequence like Heather Higgins or Heather Mac Donald.

No kidding. Not the point. If you;re unfamiliar with the term “Bushies” as conservatives use it, it means the Bush/Rove amnesty/spending wing of things.

Of course her support of GWB is justified. She was his PS, and she’s loyal. No argument there.

That’s very uncharitable of you, Buckeye. Sour, even. No, more than that–you’re just flat out being rude. Here’s a thought: If you don’t like Perino, then don’t watch the Five, don’t read her book, don’t listen to this podcast, don’t make rude comments.

Regardless of what you think of the Bush family, you have to admit, they do inspire loyalty.

It’s “rude” to comment that a very public figure is physically attractive but wasn’t very good at her job, particularly in comparison to her two very able predecessors?

    What’s happening to this place?
