Russ Roberts was great. Especially clarifying that the depression never really ended, simply transitioned to the wartime austerity that gave Americans a reason for their tight lifestyle. The end of the war gave the impetus for prosperity.
Sadly, both Jay Nordlinger and Mona Charen spent an inordinate amount of time conflating the GOP with conservatism. They seem to believe that the accomplishments of the TEA party should be attributed to the Republicans. Last I noticed, the biggest opposition that the TEA party faced were the GOP establishment.

Anyone who is not already listening EconTalk really should. Even if you find economics the most dry, boring subject you can think of, it really isn’t, and Prof. Roberts is exactly the kind of teacher you will have wished you had (for any subject, really). And his interviewing skills are outstanding, on par with Peter Robinson’s.
Yes! Very informative. And in the movie Roberts will be played by Steve Carell.
