Bad choices everywhere you look with regard to North Korea. Jay and Mona discuss the options, the prospect of nuclear war – should we threaten it? – and the fitness of the commander-in-chief.
They also consider Google’s corporate culture, whether campus attitudes matter, the Mueller investigation, McMaster v. Bannon, and Jay’s Salzburg sojourn.

Mona says the dictator of North Korea that kills and tortures his own people is not crazy and is acting rationally. Five minutes later they say Trump’s statement of fire and fury is comical and unfortunate. Let that sink in.
Honestly, I think Trump is handling the North Koreans in *exactly* the right manner. He’s using language they clearly understand, and he’s threatening action. Which he should. There are 150,000 American citizens on Guam. Threaten them, you threaten us. It’s not that complex, really.
Unbiased analysis of this President. Are Mona & Jay up to this?
Moderator Note:
"mean query" was sufficient. Beyond "mean query", comment veered into personal attacks.Unbiased? Jay began the broadcast by saying the North Korean regime was psychotic. The both of them continued to say how evil it was.
Secondly, the term “unbiased analysis” is oxymoronic. A good analysis is, by its very nature, unbiased. It should not be an opinion. Both Mona and Jay did a good analysis, and then, in my judgement, formed a rational Opinion based on that judgement. To ask if they are up to this is a mean query [redacted].
It seems you missed the question mark in my comment.

Korea and the Democrat’s Deep Psychological Fear That Trump Is Right
Columbo was indeed a wiseacre, but at least he always had something meaningful to contribute. And he got his quarry in the end. can you make the same claim?
Why would I ever click “play” on a title like this? Keith Ellison is calling and he wants his smug back.
What if NK dictator thinks it is rational to secure himself and leadership in underground bunker and survive a U.S. retaliation to his attack on U.S. ? He has or soon will have ability to kill 90% of U.S. population by taking down power grid with EMP blast. ( see http://thehill.com/blogs/pundits-blog/defense/326094-how-north-korea-could-kill-up-to-90-percent-of-americans-at-any).
However Mona’s belief that NK would be able to devastate Seoul with a conventional attack in response to a preemptive strike is probably inaccurate from what I’ve read from reliable sources. Thanks to Clinton, Bush, and Obama our best option is probably a preemptive strike soon or else a rapid hardening of power grid and development of missile defense.
