So, the NRA has screwed up and done something not right and everyone should just leave. Are you argueing they have done nothing to protect the 2nd amendment. I thought the view of the day was that we need to fix institutions and build them back up when they fail. By your logic, everyone should leave the Catholic Church. Everyone should have left the Republican party after the Teapot Dome scandal if not sooner.
I bet both of you have argued that we can’t expect perfection in other situations, but not these days. Never Trump!
You really want to donate to Wayne Lapierre’s bespoke suits? They need to show that they have fixed things. And nobody expects or indeed receives “perfection”, but there are levels.
I find the wide scale sexual abuse of children slightly more troubling than an organization spending too lavishly. Seems to me like it’s a lot easier to get that under control, and that it will probably happen.
