This week on Need To Know, Jay is on the scene in Texas at the Bush Library dedication with an inside look at the praise and the politics occurring there. Then, the coming reckoning on entitlements, ObamaCare and abortion, the continuing curious case of John Kerry, sequestration is not a walk in the park (or a swim), and Jay pays tribute to the conductor Sir Colin Davis.

Happy trails, EJHill

E.J. Hill some weeks just outdoes himself. Between this one and the GLOP Elephant piece he is just awesome.

Thanks for the compliment, Benjamin. I have my moments.

Anyone else but me think that hairdo makes Mona look like Mary Martin?

Could Mona be the mother of JR Ewing?

Just when I suppose EJHill can’t possibly top himself, he pulls off Mona and Jay as Dale and Roy. Just brilliant.

the ğ with the little accent is not pronounced it just lengthens the syllable.

Quite the event with all the Presidents and we are fortunate to have Jay and Mona to share it with us.

Yikes! That pic . . . Re, the villainous PM of Turkey: A little voice in the back of my mind was whispering, “you may be mispronouncing his name” and another voice thought, “heck, just as G.H.W. Bush serenely mispronounced ‘Saddam’ I won’t fret too much about Erdogan.” Some people don’t deserve to be honored by us bothering to get it right! (Or that’s my excuse anyway.)

“Neo-Ottomanism” is a great neologism, Jay. Use it often. And I completely agree with y’alls assessment of that inane apology to Turkey.
