I have to agree with MBD that hurling is awesome! I got to see it when I visited Ireland on a school trip in 2000. You hit a small ball with a paddle looking bat into a net or football uprights. Don’t get hit by the bat though! Friends on the trip were playing around the bat and one guy needed stitches.
