This episode was turned on its head. Way too much time was spent on Flake, G.W. Bush, and McCain’s critiques of Trump. Critiques that, while justified, are well known, obvious, and have been repeated ad nauseam. Bemoan the loss of civil discourse all you want…and then what? Ignoring Trump’s tweets and stories about his spats with senators works pretty well for me, but perhaps as journalists you have to pay attention to that tawdry mess. On the podcast, however, don’t bore your listeners with 40 minutes of what should have been a 10 minute at most discussion.

Meanwhile, your own writers, Andrew McCarthy and David French, don’t seem to share your dismissive opinion that the Russia Uranium One scandal, the corruption of the Justice Department/FBI (including their paying the dossier author (Steele)), and cooperation between the DNC, Clinton’s campaign, and Fusion GPS are “only worth a couple of news cycles”. As French remarks, just about the dossier story alone, it’s “a perfect storm of Clinton deception, media irresponsibility, and Democratic moral blindness”. Sounds pretty interesting and newsworthy to me.

    Overall, a very disappointing episode.

Would National Review please stop insinuating that Trump supporters are anti-immigration?   Trump supporters are anti-ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION.  We are not a bunch of xenophobic buffoons.   We just believe in the rule of law.

I, for one, am not just anti-illegal immigration.  I’m anti-immigration.  We need to drastically reduced the number of legal immigrants, especially chain immigration.
