Why in the world would anyone listen to a group of Never Trumpers talk about Trump firing Comey? Is there doubt about what they think of Trump at this point?
I do believe they would take issue with how Trump sips his morning coffee – “Of course I accept that Trump has a RIGHT to sip his coffee, but I think the way he holds the mug speaks volumes about his lack of moral character…”
Mr. Cooke: I watched The Onion video and that poor man would still have voted for Trump … because Hillary is nobody’s idea of a “strong and ambitious woman” and her own conduct made her “appear threatening”. But I hope and pray that the democrats continue with their insanity. They managed to make Trump look like the lesser of 2 evils and that takes talent ;)
If people disagreeing with you bothers you so much, maybe you should try ignoring them.
You are putting words in my mouth there friend, I never said it “bothered” me. In fact I’m a happy guy in general, and it actually made me chuckle when I saw the posting for this podcast.
I’m simply lamenting (while smiling) yet another addition to the Ricochet podcast network of more Never Trump folks. I realize Ricochet and National Review have a shared purpose and a lot in common, but frankly I’ve heard enough from “The Editors” from NR to last me a while. That some folks over there actually favored Clinton over Trump? Well simply put, shame on them.
I really enjoyed this podcast. The ideas were varied even within wide agreement. And Rich Lowry does a real good job of wrapping up issues and keeping everything conversational and on track. I look forward to the next one.
I’m tired of people lamenting about Never Trumpers. If you want to hear Ra Ra Trump, go turn on Judge Jeanine or Hannity. Is there any doubt about what they or Trump supporters think about Trump?
Past episodes of “The Editors” include “Episode 8: McMullinmentum”.
Go back to your safe space.
I am a NeverTrumper. Everything Trump touches dies sooner or later. The Republican Party will lose the House in 2018, and will not make the gains it should in the Senate (MT, MO) while losing AZ and NV, UNLESS Trump is removed.
Time will tell. At this point, I hope he succeeds.
