This was a stand-out addition of The Editors. A few observations:

Regarding Rich’s question, almost ten minutes in to the Podcast, about what number, from 0 to 5, to give Comey’s testimony, in terms of damage to the President: With all due deference to Rich, I think a better question would have been: What number would you give Comey’s testimony regarding 1) politics, and 2) law. In terms of the law, I’d give it a 1. He didn’t say anything that should have a detrimental impact regarding indictments. In terms of politics, it has to be a 4. Comey called him a liar, implied that one could never trust this man, and, just by being there, showed how shabbily the President treats those who lose his favor. People will not take kindly to this.

Regarding Rich’s question about there being an impeachment if the Democrats take over the House: As the panelists all agreed, the answer is an unquestioned “Yes”. This is very sad, and speaks to the infantilism to which the present party has sunk. Such old stalwarts as Daniel Moynihan, Harry Truman, and even Hubert Humphrey may have been wrong on many domestic issues, but at least they were grown-ups!

Regarding Brexit, Prime Minister May, etc.: There seems to a world-wide turn to Populism, to which no conservative worth his or her salt, would ever turn. But we must figure out a way to answer this new threat to good governance, or we will surely regret it.

Start at 31:00 if you want to know why the West has too much centralized government and it is collapsing in predictable ways per the Austrian school. The GOP needs to wake the hell  up and look at people like David Stockman and Mises.org etc.

Also, I very much appreciate the comment about John Wick movies.

If Barack Obama can get away with his lies and incompetence, so can Trump.

It’s astonishing that the Clinton Foundation can have so many ties to donors who need favors while Hilary was Sec’y of State. And nothing happens.
It’s astonishing that Obama could get away with co-opting the IRS to persecute his political opposition.  And nothing happens.
It’s astonishing that Loretta Lynch could cover for Hillary and turn aside the investigation of blatant law-breaking by Hillary. And nothing happens.
It’s astonishing that Obama can allow names of Americans to be unmasked in confidential reports at a time that is particularly inviting to innuendo that damages his successor. And no one says boo.

Trump says something stupid (again). OMG! IMPEACH HIM!

They say that Trump does not know how to “play the Press”. The Press is not an accordion that can be played. The Press today is a pack of howling hungry hyenas. How does one play with those?

Two weeks before the British election, May looked like a winner and then disappoints and loses a majority. Michael predicts what’s going to happen in an election two years from now? Have you learned nothing from the last election about the folly of prediction?
