Also, a hige part of furry culture is homosexual.
So musicians and artists have a high prevalence of unusual sexual orientations, suicide, alcoholism, and joblessness. That fits with what I see in the pop culture news.
Artists who are painters are often autistic. Classical musicians might be autistic but I think it’s very rare to have pop stars and actors be autistic. Actors and pop stars are highly sociable while being broken. Autistic people tend to be broken but to not be sociable.
Born of a Blue Day is the best book on autism. SteppenWolf is the best book written about loneliness and also the best current book about being a furry (admittedly not a high bar.)
